“Michael Jordan: Air Time” documents Jordan and the Chicago Bulls’ 1991-92 season, including Jordan dealing with his friend and rival Magic Johnson’s retirement announcement, gambling allegations, talk of the team possibly breaking the long-in-place season win record with 70 victories, filming a music video with Michael Jackson, and other obstacles throughout the course of the year. The video follows this with the “Dream Team” (Jordan and his fellow NBA stars) gaining worldwide attention as they partake and dominate in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and concludes with the Bulls’ championship ring ceremony in the fall of ’92”

Above & Beyond documents Michael Jordan’s first retirement, his attempt at baseball, his father’s murder, his eventual return to basketball, and the Bull’s loss to Orlando in the playoffs. That summer Michael makes “Space Jam” and begins the next season in the best shape of his life. Unfortunately the documentary ends shortly after the All-star break of the 1995-96 season, and misses the rest of the 72 win season, Michael’s MVP trophy, and his 4th NBA title.

Western All-star starters: John Stockton, Alex English, Karl Malone, Dale Ellis, Hakeem Olajuwon.

Eastern All-star starters: Michael Jordan, Isiah Thomas, Charles Barkley, Moses Malone, Dominique Wilkins.

Michael Jordan scores 28 points on 13-23 shooting in a 143-134 loss for the Eastern All-stars. Karl Malone also scores 28 points, but takes home the MVP trophy.

23 points in a row vs. the Hawks

In one of the most prolific scoring runs in NBA history, Michael Jordan averaged 37.1 points, and scored over 3000 points during the 1986-87 season. In this game against the Atlanta Hawks, Michael scores 61 points, passes the 3000 point mark, and scores an incredible 23 points in a row.

“The Shot” vs. the Cavs

Michael Jordan and the underdog Chicago Bulls take on the Cleveland Cavaliers and take them to 5 games. In the final seconds of the deciding game 5, Jordan hits a miraculous shot that is now known simply as “The Shot” and eliminates the Cavs from the playoffs.
