11 great songs from the Animaniacs classroom

Animaniacs was one of those shows that everyone liked, if not loved. It was hard to understand why we liked it so much as a kid, but looking back on the episodes and clips, it’s amazing to see The Animaniacs again with fresh eyes.

One great aspect of the show were the original songs. Almost every episode had an original song, and many of them remain with us even till today. This is one of the most popular Animaniac songs of all time.

Yakko’s nations of the world song (with subtitles!)

The history of the universe in 10 minutes

The amount of talent and creativity that went into the show is astounding!

Here are some other great songs with an educational twist. I didn’t embed the videos but did put the links down below. Let me know if you prefer to have the videos embedded.

Wakko’s 50 State capitals

Yakko’s song of the universe

Our solar system singalong

The Presidents of the U.S.A

The multiplication song

Be careful what you eat

40 miles on the Panama canal

Ballad of Magellan

The senses

Yakko’s song about time

Bonus clip:

Parts of the brainperformed by Pinky and The Brain

I’m not sure they’re available on itunes since they weren’t actually songs released on albums. I think the best bet is still Youtube at this point.
