Michael Jordan: Come Fly With Me

This is by far my favorite Michael Jordan documentary.

Come Fly With Me was made in 1989, merely 5 years after Jordan joined the NBA. Since Jordan had not won a championship yet, it is intriguing that a documentary was made of him so early. Luckily for fans, the documentary concentrated more on Jordan’s early career, especially his high school and college careers. It also shows off Michael’s off court persona, which is the real reason why he was so well loved by so many people.

Michael talks very candidly to the camera, and we get to see him for more than just a basketball player, we get to see him as a complete person. A person with extraordinary skills, determination, and talent who captured the hearts and imaginations of an entire generation.

Thanks so much for posting this. I haven’t seen it for nearly 20 years. Just sat and watched it with my daughter who commented she wished she had been able to see him play.

Wow, it’s funny to think of impact Jordan has even today. Thanks for the comment.
