Who am I?

Welcome, thanks for visiting!

As you can see, this site is dedicated to my Michael Jordan project. You might be wondering what it’s all about. Hopefully I can answer your questions.

THE EVOLUTION OF MICHAEL JORDAN

There are dozens of Michael Jordan biographies out there, why are you making another one?

The other biographies are either written with words, or constructed using videos. What I am doing is to combine the power of the written word, the captured image, and the moving picture all into one medium for telling the story of Michael Jordan like it has never been told before.

Everything about Michael has been documented, why would this biography be any different?

The power of the internet has unleashed an incredible amount of information about anything you could think of, and Michael Jordan is no exception. There are film clips, images, and descriptions that are available on the internet that cannot be found in other biographies or documentaries. This biography will feature actual games Michael has played in, including the 1983 Pan American games in Venezuela. Trying finding that video in another biography.

Wouldn’t you come up against copy right laws with this project?

Hopefully not. I plan to use resources that are open to anyone. Youtube, Wikipedia, blogs, whatever I can find. I will use material uploaded by users like you and me, whose purpose of uploading is to share our interests and passions, and not to make a buck.

How can you hope to do this all on your own?

The easy answer is, I don’t. There is no way one person can hope to comb through all the resources on the internet and find all the rare and unseen materials on Michael. What I hope to do is to inspire people to join this project, and combine our efforts to honor Michael Jordan. Some contributors may choose to write a chapter, or submit a video, or just give support where its needed. I hope that this can become a community project.

So there, I need your help. I will get this project started but I will need all the help I can get to finish it. So let’s do it together.

    Andy,

Your tribute to Jordan is amazing. I work at an ad agency and we’re about to do a pretty awesome campaign for Jordan. We were hoping to incorporate your site in with the idea.

Shoot me an email if you’re interested.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan
